Hanoi City Gate Hotel

The room was bright, clean, and featured a comfy bed. Wi-Fi worked well, keeping me connected. The location by the city gate was fantastic, with lively streets nearby to explore. The shower pressure was weak, a bit disappointing. It could use more attention to detail, especially in cleaning. Despite that, I appreciated the prompt service from the staff who helped with my laundry needs. Great value for money overall, and I'll likely come back.

Location: the hotel was very close to markets, museums, nightlife, shopping centers and bazarre and bars, restaurants, sightseeing. The staff was really helpful with advice and suggestions.

Quick and helpful communication ensured a smooth early check-in. The room was clean, comfortable, and we appreciated the complimentary upgrade to a twin and double bed setup.

The room had a nice view from the balcony.

The Junior Suite with Balcony had a main balcony door that didn't shut properly, allowing in noise from the street, especially from nearby cockerels and party sounds. The bathroom setup was less than ideal, with a shower head that faced the wrong way. The balcony was cramped, especially after some drinks at night.

Ask about the local street food vendors nearby. They offer authentic and delicious meals at great prices.

The location provided easy access to lively street life, but the noise from cockerels was noticeable. Dining options could be more varied, and a little extra attention to room details would enhance the experience.

The staff were great! Always there to help me, it seemed like I had my own personal tour guide. The location made it easy for me to explore the vibrant streets, just around the gate there were so many things happening, loved that!
